Pfc. S. Buhl has been employed with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office since November of 2006. Since that time she has been assigned to housing units and control rooms within the Detention Center. In December of 2007, she successfully completed the Special Response Team course, and remains an active member of this unit. Pfc. Buhl has become a very versatile officer who can be assigned anywhere to work in the Detention Center and she performs her duties with skill and professionalism. On December 26th, Pfc. Buhl was assigned as the female intake officer. While conducting a search on a new arrestee she located a small clear plastic bag with what appeared to be narcotics in it. The substance was turned over to the arresting officer and it was determined that it was .1 gram of heroin. The arrestee was charged with additional Felony charges for possession of controlled substance on prison / Jail premises. Due to her diligence in searching the arrestee, she was able to locate the contraband and thus prevent it from being introduced into the Facility.
