On September 12th, Deputy Lujano was requested by the Investigative Services Division to assist with a juvenile runaway investigation. Deputy Lujano was willing to stay after his shift to offer translation services to further the investigation. Deputy Lujano was also able to ascertain the juvenile had run away with another juvenile that was also missing and had not been previously entered as a runaway. This subject was then entered into NCIC by the Winston-Salem Police Department.

Once both subjects had been located a few days later, Deputy Lujano again went to the residence and spoke to the juvenile in an attempt to gain information on their whereabouts while gone to use in possible future runaway situations. Deputy Lujano's concern for these juveniles is a perfect example of his desire to go above his required service for the citizens of this county. He brings credit to this agency by his actions.
