From July 18, 2018, to July 22, 2018, Deputy Brandon Jones volunteered his time, talent, and equipment to film, direct, and produce the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office's video in response to the nationwide Law Enforcement Lip Sync Challenge. Before becoming a Deputy Sheriff, Jones attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. When he learned the Sheriff's Office was entertaining the idea of participating in the lip sync challenge, he immediately volunteered his expertise and his time to assist in making it happen. He volunteered numerous hours over five days in order to make this project a reality and to present the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office in a professional – if not lighthearted manner. As of August 2018, the video has over two (2) million views on various sites and overwhelmingly positive feedback. His commitment to this project is the embodiment of the “One Team - One Mission” mantra of the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.
