January Enforcement Staff Member of the Month

On January 9th, we received a call from a citizen who wished to talk about the interaction she had with Sgt. Thrush earlier that morning. She stated that she was running late to work and was speeding and driving aggressively on 52 South. Sgt. Thrush stopped her for the traffic violations, which she freely admitted to. She wished to tell me that Sgt. Thrush was very polite, professional, and compassionate with her during the traffic stop. He took the time to listen to her, and his kindness was very appreciated. After working with Sgt. Thrush for several years in different sections of the Office of the Sheriff; this is just one of the compliments I have received about him. His demeanor and kindness always reflect the core values of this Office. Because of this, Sgt. A. Thrush has been selected as the Enforcement Staff Member of the Month.
