We are recognizing an outstanding Sergeant within the School Resource Division, Todd Simpson. The challenges faced in the School Resource Division are not for the faint of heart, and he has encountered numerous crises and emergencies this year. Sergeant Simpson, exemplifies the saying, "I am my brother's keeper." He has consistently stood in solidarity with the other sergeants during emergencies at their respective schools. His compassion, sympathy, and empathy shine through in his interactions with his squad members. Sergeant Simpson works diligently behind the scenes, never seeking recognition for his contributions to create a positive environment for both current and newly assigned deputies. Sergeant Simpson is not only present for work-related events, but he also supports his co-workers during personal challenges. He ensures all tasks and assignments are completed promptly. We are fortunate to work alongside such a talented individual. The division's growth would not be possible without his dedication and resilience. It is a privilege to work with Sergeant Simpson, as he ensures the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office shines as a beacon of hope in a world that sometimes feels dark. Sergeant Simpson is genuine, compassionate, and consistently goes above and beyond to foster teamwork within the School Resource Division.
