About

We follow a socially conscious model for the community.

Using a socially conscious model helps us make the largest impact for the community and their animals that can only happen through collaborative efforts and relationships throughout the community. We foster a culture of transparency, ethcial decision making, mutual respect, continual learning and collaboration.

Every effort will be made to place healthy and safe animals either in adoptive homes or transfer out ot partner organizations and sister shelters. The health, meical and behavioral needs of every animal in our care will be assessed and treated to alleviate suffering. We will make appropriate euthanasia decisions which are well throughout, transparent and considers the "quality of life" and ensures the welfare of each individual animal.

We will align shelter policies with the needs of the community which are inclusive and representative of the diverse voices in our community. Finally, we will promote responsible pet ownership in our community.
