Health and Human Services Hosts Leadership Winston-Salem Class

On May 7th, Forsyth County Health and Human Services welcomed the current class of Leadership Winston-Salem for an engaging and informative visit to the campus.

The class had the opportunity to participate in a dynamic resource fair, which featured representatives from various programs across the departments. In addition to networking at the fair, the group toured each department within Health and Human Services, gaining valuable insight into the wide range of services provided by our agencies. They were given a sneak peak of the newly renovated Auditorium opening soon in the Annex 1 building and the transformed Highland Avenue Center that will host Behavioral Health Services and partner agencies. The visit helped deepen their understanding of how local government supports the health and well-being of the community through dedicated, collaborative service.

Special thanks to this year’s HHS Leadership Winston-Salem Planning Team:

  • Jason Heyman, Adult Medicaid Eligibility Specialist
